Joint Configuration Management Information System

Joint Configuration Management Information System (JCMIS) is an automated Configuration Management (CM) tool developed by Intergraph Corporation supporting components of the Department of Defense (DoD), US Federal Agencies, Commercial Industry, and approved Foreign Governments. JCMIS is a robust web-enabled CM application that tracks equipment and weapon systems from 'Cradle to Grave' and has the power to turn data into Clear, Concise and Valid information.

JCMIS supports all four pillars of CM: Configuration Identification (CI), Change Control (CC), Configuration Audits (CA), and Configuration Status Accounting (CSA).

JCMIS has been independently certified and awarded a four star rating by the Institute of Configuration Management.

In addition, data security is provided using multiple layers of data filtering and access control coupled with the vigorous security protocols provided by Oracle. User access can be restricted on a screen-by-screen basis and to specific data subsets within tables. JCMIS provides 'Ease of Use' system administration interface for controlling user accounts, access, and roles thus vastly reducing the complexity and manpower needed to maintain and sustain the application.
